The position is superb. A one minute walk from Gloucester Road underground station, crossing just a small road. There are supermarkets and loads of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. It is just a ten to fifteen minute walk to the Natural History Museum. The hotel entrance is lovely, it is private and enclosed between two roads and there is an underground carpark if you need one. £££ but it is available. Security was tight, you need your room key to access your floor in the lift and there were plenty of members of staff in the foyer to keep an eye on things and to help guests. It felt very safe despite being a big hotel. The room was comfortable and there was a fridge as well as the usual tea and coffee making things. I didn't use the restaurants but did have a nice cocktail in the bar. I stay in the area regularly but hadn't stayed here before, I will definitely be back as I feel the price to comfort ratio was excellent.

The location is priceless..you can roll out of Gloucester Road London Tube station on the Circle and District Line. The staff were brilliant. I reported some issues in the room, and the staff were on to it right away, and the problem was solved. The bed was comfy, and importantly, pillows of different thickness were provided to suit all...I like thin pillows myself. I had arrived with a cycle, and there was cycle parking facility in the underground car park. The circulation spaces are excellent. The shampoos and hand washes had an exotic fragrance. The entrance to the hotel is off street, and this is great for folk arriving by car.

The location is excellent; it is a one-minute walk from Gloucester Road tube stop, and there are frequent trains to/from Heathrow via the Piccadilly line. The District and Circle lines also have easy access to most parts of London. There are many excellent restaurants within an easy walk. The lobby is elegant and the facilities are excellent.
